If you need someone to talk to, we’ll listen and help.
Counseling
Our counseling center is here to help with any issues, whether emotional (e.g. anxiety, stress, depression, relationship issues) and/or academic (e.g. time management, study skills, decisions about majors and careers.) And if you just need a sounding board, we are available for that, too!
The Counseling Center offers free workshops about a variety of mental health and general health topics throughout the year. Short-term crisis counseling is available as well as assistance with referrals to other mental health resources.
Professor Naomi Klapper and Dr. Ditza Berger are available Monday – Thursday in Room 316. To set up an appointment, please call them at 212-287-3517.
Mashgiach Ruchani
Rabbi Tzvi Flaum, the Mashgiach Ruchani, and Rabbi Dovid Goldwasser, a dedicated member of our Judaic Studies faculty, are here to provide spiritual guidance and counseling. They can assist with a wide range of issues concerning dating, family relationships, career choices, and hashkafic questions.
To schedule an appointment, please call Rabbi Flaum at 212-287-3502 or stop by his office in room 214.
