Medical Honors Pathway

The Medical Honors Pathway provides a direct pathway to a medical education for highly qualified students out of high school. It leads to a baccalaureate degree from Lander College for Women and a medical degree from New York Medical College, one of the country’s largest and oldest medical schools.

Once accepted to Lander College for Women and the Medical Honors Pathway, you will be conditionally admitted to New York Medical College School of Medicine and have the opportunity to complete a medical degree in eight years (or seven years if you’ve spent a year in Israel), provided you meet the curriculum, activities and medical school matriculation requirements while enrolled at Lander College for Women.

You’ll be mentored throughout your education by Lander College for Women and New York Medical College faculty and staff. Additionally, you’ll be offered counseling, assistance with MCAT preparation and clinical or research opportunities at New York Medical College during your undergraduate years.
