Interdisciplinary Studies

The interdisciplinary major is a unique program of study, integrating two or more academically cohesive disciplines.  This opportunity is offered to students on a case–by-case basis in consultation with the Office of the Dean.  If the Dean approves an interdisciplinary major, one of the Deans will work closely with the student and her faculty advisor(s) to create a comprehensive academic framework, including required courses, and a plan for research and study.
