Student Government arranges mishloach manot and tzedaka initiative
Students at Lander College for Women—the Anna Ruth and Mark Hasten School were proud to support Keren Yehoshua v'Yisroel in a pre-Purim project organized by student government.
Students signed up earlier this month to reserve decorated mishloach manot packages, including chocolate chip cookies and candy, which were sold and distributed this past week at the official 3-day sale. The proceeds benefitted Keren Y&Y, an organization that assists over 1,000 families in Israel through the distribution of food coupons. The project provided a sweet opportunity to enhance the joy of a community in need on Purim.
