Speaker: Naomi Klapper, LMHC
Naomi Klapper serves as the Deputy Chair of the Department of Psychology and Assistant Professor of Psychology at Touro College, Lander College for Women. She is the recipient of several prestigious teaching awards, including the Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching, the student-chosen Teacher of the Year Award and America's Best Teachers. In addition, Professor Klapper is a licensed clinical therapist and maintains a private practice on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Her practice includes individual therapy, premarital counseling and couples counseling. Professor Klapper has lectured extensively on numerous topics related to parenting, relationships, marriage and wellness. She has been invited as a scholar-in-residence at many educational retreats, psychology programs and synagogues, and has also published many articles on the subject of mental health.
