Year One

  • Attend the pre-med/pre-health orientation offered in both the Fall and Spring terms.
  • Begin to identify possible sites for volunteering in the health field, e.g. hospitals, community clinics, nursing homes, HIV clinics, etc.
  • Set forth a course of premedical studies
  • Get involved in the campus and community affairs.
  • Sketch out a tentative timeline for completing premedical requirements.
  • Seek out help and advice from faculty, students, and/or from our pre-med adviser
  • Think about what you might like to do during the summer.
  • Consult with the premed and predent adviser to review your schedules
