Marking Graduation
LCW graduates gather with their families for a pre-commencement reception
June 03, 2014
Surrounded by family, faculty and staff, Lander College for Women graduates gathered one last time as students at the school. Before donning cap and gown to walk the few short blocks to the commencement ceremony at Lincoln Center, the Dean, Dr. Marian Stoltz-Loike spoke to the crowd of 150, addressing the graduates, firing them up to remake the world and leave their mark on it. Judging from the decorations on some caps, it’s a message that’s been imbued in them throughout their stay at LCW and one they’re eager to take on.
