LCW and Touro's I-O Psychology MS Program welcome Dr. Benjamin Elman for a special lecture entitled, "Why Are Women Paid Less Than Men?"

Dr. Elman will address the club regarding the role gender stereotypes play in pay, promotion and leadership. He will also speak about the value of internships in I-O graduate degrees and answer questions about the I-O job market.

Dr. Elman has published research highlighting gender differences in pay, self-promotion, competitive nature, and has studied social backlash toward atypical women.

Lunch will be served.
