The Application Process:

Lander College for Women/ The Anna Ruth and Mark Hasten School (LCW) has a rolling admissions policy. The final deadline for the fall semester is June 15th and the final deadline for the spring semester is December 15th. Students desiring admission to the College should follow the following procedures.

The Application:

Submit your completed application, together with a non-refundable $50 fee, to the Office of Admissions of the Lander College for Women. Make sure you check Lander College for Women at the top of the application. You can also submit your application online. Students studying in Israel should send their applications to the LCW Israel Office.

Academic Records:

Official high school transcripts as well as any official college transcripts, if applicable, must be sent byt the schools to LCW in a sealed envelope. Student copies are not acceptable. Applications will not be evaluated without high school transcripts.

Test Scores:

Students who have taken the Scholastic Achievement Test (SAT) or the American College Test (ACT) should have the official test score reports sent to Touro College. Student application may not be evaluated if neither test has been taken. For the SAT; Touro College’s score report number is 2902; for the ACT, it is 2961. SAT II tests are not required, but, if taken, are helpful in assessing the application. It’s expected that any student applying to the Honors Program will have taken several SAT II exams.

Recommendations:

Two letters of recommendation should be submitted in support of your application. The letters should be written by people who know you well, such as teachers or your local rabbi.

Interviews:

Applicants must be asked to come in for an interview with a designated representative of LCW. In addition, the Admissions Committee may request a second interview with another representative of the Committee.

Transfer Applications:

LCW welcomes qualified transfer students and qualified visiting students from other colleges.
