Counseling
Sometimes during the course of their studies, students can experience stress-related or emotional difficulties. LCW has two counselors who are available to assist students with their personal and mental health concerns. LCW counselors help students with a full range of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship problems. Help is also available for academic issues such as time-management, study skills, and decision-making about majors and careers. Short-term and crisis counseling is available, as well as assistance with referrals to other mental health resources. The Counseling Center offers free workshops about a variety of mental health and general health topics throughout the year. Our counselors, Dr. Ditza Berger and Prof. Naomi Klapper are available Monday – Thursday in Room 316. To set up an appointment, please call them at 212-287-3517. Counseling is free of charge.
