Apply to Lander College for Women

Applying to college can be daunting, but we are here to help at any point along the way.

To get started, here's a list of what we need from you:

1. Application
Complete and submit your application, with a non-refundable $50 fee, to the Office of Admissions of the Lander College for Women. We have rolling admissions.

Qualified students should also consider applying to our Honors program. Those interested in health fields should look at the admission requirements for our integrated honors tracks in medicine, health sciences and pharmacy, and the Medical Honors Pathway

Students currently studying in Israel should send their applications to the Lander College for Women Israel Office. Addresses provided below. We’ve waived the application fee for students in Israel to make the application process easier.

2. Academic Records
The official high school transcript and, if applicable, other college or seminary transcripts should be emailed to the Office of Admissions at LCW. We do not evaluate applications without a high school transcript. If you attended a foreign high school your transcript may require a WESC/NACES approved evaluation.

3. Test Scores
Have your official SAT or ACT scores sent to Touro College.
Touro College SAT score report number: 2902
Touro College ACT score report number: 2961

Lander College for Women does not require students to take the SAT or ACT for admission to the College. Although the exams are optional, they will only positively influence your potential scholarship award if you do take them. Please note that the SAT or ACT is required for admission to the Honors Program.

4. Recommendations
Please submit two letters of recommendation from either teachers or principals. If you are applying to any of our accelerated or honors programs the letters for that program should be submitted and you do not need to submit letters with the regular application.

5. Interview
Students who have applied to the college without SAT or ACT scores may be required to have an interview for admissions. Students will be contacted if an interview is required.

Early Admissions and Transfer Applications

Outstanding, well-qualified candidates may be admitted to the College at the end of the junior year of high school. We also welcome transfer students and qualified visiting students from other colleges. For more information please contact our director of admissions.
